So if you are interested email me and I will give you the details.
* KPGR (Present Grove High
School) and KOHS (Orem High

Remember school colors are green and gold, but we are not limited

and it means more party's). We will also have club member cards that will be used to get into club activities and events,
so there you have it.

Minutes from the September 7th, 2004 meeting
Change of Club Meeting times it has been a major consensus to change our meeting time to Tuesdays at 1pm room
(undecided as of yet)
Dates to remember/ upcoming activities:
Don't forget Club Rush the 8th and 9th 10-2 in the hall of flags drop by and say hi
And on the 10th we are having an opening social in the Computer science building (4th
and 6th floors) 6-11pm (this time has been changed) with music, video games, a movie, and food
so come! everyone is invited and bring your favorite Cd's to share 'cause we can have our first music night!
Let's get down to business:
At the meeting we had some great ideas for fund raises and service projects such as: A Car wash, Scary Movie in the woods,
and a concert (with bands and DJ's)
I really think we can make these events happen if we can all pull our resources. I think the main thing we need is equipment
(speakers, amps, Mic's, mixers, etc.) and venues. John and Daryl have some equipment and I know Wiz has a butt load of stuff,
so If you want to get involved with these activities or have any suggestions or have any equipment let me know.
Heres the Low Down
I am thinking of having the Scary Movie in October (duh) as our service project and to avoid Copyright laws we can't
charge people to watch the movie and it can't really be a public thing, so by only inviting club members and their "friends"
I think it solves that problem. The service project part will be that everyone that comes has to bring a couple of caned
food items, pretty painless.
Lets see... were also looking to do a concert toward the end of November. We need a place to have it, equipment
to power it, bands to play at it (for free), and people to organize and run it. So if you want to learn how to do live music
correctly, set up Mic's correctly, learn how to deal with "talent", and set something like this up you will definitely
want to be involved with this project! and if anyone knows of a cool place or some cool bands let me know we need to get on
this ASAP!
We also discussed dues. To be considered a real functioning club we need to collect at least $5 as membership dues from
every member (it's good for the whole year and it means more party's). We will also have club member cards that will be used
to get into club activities and events, so there you have it.
We also went over what we have been doing to get our station up and running. Right now our awesome club adviser is helping
a fellow UVSC employee get us a grant to revamp the Pioneer house (located by the PE and SC buildings) as our station
headquarters. If we can get some Department approvals we should have no problem getting money, because I know the school and
the student body are behind us and support us in this.
